Counselors Not Cops!
We demand police-free schools in Gwinnett County!
What do Counselors Not Cops really mean?
For schools to really be safe, we must invest in research-based supports such as counselors, restorative justice practitioners, and community intervention workers to maintain a peaceful learning environment. Gwinnett funds police to the tune of $10,446,769. That is funding that should support evidence-based practices that provide real school safety.
